The Broken Thumb earned its name the hard way. While hammering the dimples into this face, Pete missed and caught his own thumb with the hammer. It turned blue before the job was done, and he ran for ice to keep it down. Look up near the toe on the top left and you’ll find one dimple left unpainted. Every other dot got its color, but that one stays raw to mark the day.
 
The Broken Thumb is a 304 Stainless Steel Dragon Tail in a two-tone Stardust and polished finish. The cavity contains Unicoop, our new Muni Mowse, The Pied Piper, Owlala, and Cherries and Wink, all hand stamped across the back. The bumper is brushed, with Ow&Co. stamped on top between two diamonds. The face is micromilled and stamped with those colored dimples. A pipe neck is welded on and left raw so the weld’s heat colors glow blue and gold to match the paint. The sole features the Dragon Tail bullet. It all sits on a Crisp Chrome Ow&Co. shaft finished with a titanium shaft ring, polished and rainbow torched to match, and we topped it with an Owie Blue ostrich leg grip handmade by Ben Jackson.
