Legend says this putter was born at the quiet hour between last spark and first light.
 
A bar of 1018 carbon steel, traditionally meant for something ordinary, was pulled from the rack and set beneath the mill. Instead of a standard neck, a length of rebar was chosen, twisted, polished and welded by hand, a nod to the raw bones of industry and the strength hidden inside unfinished things. The steel remembered every strike, every cut, every pass of the tool.
 
As the final marks were stamped deeply by hand, tiny symbols were inlaid, intentional design elements to glisten, sparkle and twinkle spectacularly.
 
To bring this mythical wand to life, it needed a finish that was as magical as the putter itself.  First we torched to a stunning blue, lowered into an oil bath again and again, triple polished, slow and deliberate until the surface bloomed with deep blues, bronzes, and violets, like heat trapped beneath calm water. 
 
Precious metal colored paints were applied by hand, adding the nearly final touch, that is until we protected this Unicorn's head with a first of it's kind, mythical headcover we nicknamed "The Sparkle Smacker."
